We have more reasons than ever to go deeper into mindfulness, a set of body-mind connecting practices proven by clinical research to reduce stress levels, increase the release of beneficial hormones, and boost indicators of happiness. In this 45-minute workshop, learn the neuroscience that backs up why mindfulness is such a crucial practice to boost creativity. Learn basic concepts of mindfulness including how to practice it; just like brushing your teeth, mindfulness only works when done regularly! Bring just yourself and find a quiet, comfortable place to sit and try out some meditation and other techniques in this experiential workshop.

This webinar is presented by Rebecca Polan, a consultant, meditation and mindfulness instructor, mental health coach and dedicated neuroscience geek. She brings together her 20 years of yoga and meditation experience with 15 years of consulting to Sole Clarity (www.soleclarity.com), where she leads corporate team meditations and corporate wellness workshops for ready-to-grow organizations. Rebecca is certified in somatic psychotherapy and works one-on-one in mindfulness with professional humans looking to grow into the happiest version of themselves.

Rebecca has a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Boston University, and is a RYT200 yoga and meditation instructor. She is also a published writer of prose and poetry and is the author of the upcoming book Faith Under Water: A Guidebook for Rising.
