Planning successful events since COVID-19 can still be a thing! Wisconsin Music Ventures has hosted/co-hosted over 50 events since the U.S. pandemic shutdown; less than 20% of those have been online events. Allison will gladly share the many lessons learned throughout this time period – and how WMV has been able to make a name for themselves even despite the world’s events.
Allison Emm is Owner, Founder and Experience Generator of Wisconsin Music Ventures: a patron supported concert series that began in July, 2019. WMV prides itself in being a musicians-first organization (Allison is a musician herself), and has a great reputation as a business that not only supports local music, but advocates for local musicians alongside booking events for them in great Wisconsin places. Allison is the Guitar Festival Consultant for the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, an Ambassador Member of Nō Studios in downtown Milwaukee, and is also on the music education task force at 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. She is very involved with her community, and brings that mindset to her business.
